I’m off to to HotHouse Theatre in Albury to begin my Greenhouse National Artist Residency!
I’ll be working directly with young people to develop my play – Breakwater.
Shortlisted for two playwriting awards, Breakwater is a fresh, feminist, theatre-in-education play about three rebellious teenagers skipping school to escape the perils of puberty while together finding a way to ride the waves of our uncertain times. Breakwater wrestles with the ups and downs of adolescence, shining a light on the importance of friendships with humour and heart.
There will be a staged reading on Saturday 5th February supported by Murray Arts and Albury City.
